Let’s be honest. We would all like to be 100% fit and healthy but for many of us, we just feel we must stay content as we are.

No matter what our age, getting fit and than staying healthy is something of a chore.

The reason for most are 3 very simple problems.

  • The drive to succeed
  • The time needed
  • The motivation

Apart from these there are also the costs involved.

Having to buy books to find out a great all round diet or perhaps having to invest in a new pair of running shoes seems just like another expense we could all do without.

But let’s not look at it from a different angle.

What would you say if a Doctor told you to lose weight and get fit or you will shorten you life expectancy by 25 years. I guess like me, you would sign up for the local gym immediately.

Well perhaps 25 years is a little extreme but the truth is this.

Your body was designed much like a well balanced, fine tuned engine. Every inch of it was created to give you an advantage over other animals. So now image your body was a Ferrari sports car. A few years old but one of a kind, totally unique. Would you throw rubbish in it to take to the tip everyday? No of course not but this is how most of us treat our bodies on a daily basis.

We have no real regard for it. Do we really consider how much we are depreciating our bodies by not fueling them properly or making sure they have a service we they need it.
